Cyrus Family

Monday, June 26, 2006

Christina and Tracey welcomed Taylor Jane just after midnight (12:17 a.m.) June 25, 2006. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces, was 18.5 inches long, had a head covered in beautiful dark hair, a dimple in her right cheek, long skinny feet, fingers, and toes, and the most precious little mouth and nose. She has Daddy's mouth and Mommy's nose ~ just like her sister. But the two sisters have very different eyes! Marley has Mommy's, and Taylor has Daddy's. So precious!!

Everyone is doing very well! Chrissy was born to make babies, pushing only 5 times to deliver their new bundle of joy!! It was truly amazing! I've never seen anything so remarkable in all my life (and I've had two kids of my own!). (This is Jenny starting Chrissy's blog by the way.)

Taylor is a great nurser and is doing her best to keep Mommy from a moment of rest, nursing nearly every hour on the hour. She's a very content and healthy little piggie. : )

Well, Hello, Sweet Baby!

I'm so happy to meet you!!

(Slow) Dancing with joy and beaming with pride!

Proud Auntie got to cut the cord! Memories of a Lifetime.

The Cyrus Ladies

Marley already adores her! Although she was a bit timid at first, within moments, she was begging to hold Taylor over and over and found lots of enjoyment dressing and undressing Taylor's little socks!!

Cousins Collin and Owen were also instantly in love with little Tay-Tay. Collin delivered kisses, and Owen was all smiles and started flapping his arms in excitment each time he got close to her.

And of course, no one could deny the pride and love of the Grandparents and Great-Grandparents. They were all beaming during their entire visit(s).

The Cyrus's are hoping to go home tomorrow morning and settle into their new routine and new family. Congratulations, Tracey, Chrissy, and Marley! Welcome to the world, Little Taylor!
